| So I haven't posted for a while. I am back home taking a government class suprisingly I am learning a lot and really like the class. Besides that I am ventilating wigs which means on the front of the wig is lace and I take a latch hook type thing and put one or two hairs thru each hole. Very tedious but looks great when done. I am trying to get them to look for realistic so maybe some day I can do it for films. But I'd love to hear from all of you again. I miss you guys and our talks about God deeply. | | |
| I am back home now. I am hoping to start school again. I am trying to get a night class for this fall semester and then regular semesters for about 2 years. Then I will be done, that is if I get to continue usually when I try school God changes that plan so we will see.... don't know where I am working for this season. Doing some ventillating on the side for sight and sound besides that still unsure. Maybe go back not sure. | | |
| I really am frustrated with trying to find my way around this site with the new layout I need someone to teach me. Anyway I am back in Chicago now. We went to St Louis and Kansas City where I saw Peach and my cousin. It's been great seeing so many people this summer. On my adventure to see my cousin in Chicago right when I was leaving I lost my bus pass. But I was like ok God you knew this would happen you know I don't have much money along so I need your help to get a ride to the train station in one ride. I found the bus but they didn't take cash unless exact change I didn't have it. Then a lady on the bus gave me change for my 5 and helped me find the stop I needed to get off at. That was defantily God doing a work right there. So then we went to St. Louis went to the arch but had an amazing host family. Then in Kansas City well we had a cool hotel huge, with all you can drink cappuccino, hot chocolate, coffee, and a pool. While we were there for camp we stayed in the church over night. Thursday night was our last night there and I was getting up for my normal bathroom routine in the middle of the night and heard this weird noise ignored it and kept going. When I got back from the bathroom a loud alarm was going off, freaked out that someone might be in the building I woke up my teammate Sarah, who called told me to call our team director Ben. He didn't know what set it off and tried to get a hold of the children's pastor who showed up about 15-20 min. later. While the alarm was going off I sat in the corner of the room beside Sarah, finally it shut off. Brad the children's pastor forgot to tell his wife we were staying another night and she set the alarm so my bathroom routine set it off. We left back for Chicago about 5 am that morning with not as much sleep as expected because of the alarm. So now we are back in Chicago. I loved the camps so far. The one in Kansas City we did a slip and slide the kids listened very well and Sarah and I had lots of turns because the kids wanted to go with us. It's been such a fun time out here and I've had a few times I explained to kids who wanted to know how to be with Jesus so that's cool. What's next I still don't know. But also be praying Clint finds a job because I know God gives desires for a reason and I know that whoever the kids are that he will reach will be changed and that his heart is already devoted to them. Just pray God connects them together. He has amazing patience and even if he doesn't see it Clint's been really inspiring to me in how he's handle this whole job search and in trusting God for basic needs, I want to make sure weather I have a lot or little that my attitude is like that. | | |
| I am in chicago working for a sports camp. I teach dance/cheerleading and also about Jesus. We do one camp in the morning and one in the evening monday-thursday. This was my second week and my first week actually teaching. So far I really enjoy it, the hardest thing is thinking of creative new things all the time I could use the same thing from camp to camp I guess but then I'd get board too. But the kids are so much fun to play with and most of them listen however Sarah a girl on my team and me lost our voices from yelling at the one camp all the time. Anyway so I will be here for the rest of the summer if your in the area let me know. We also leave in 2 weeks for St. Louis and Kansas City. So call if you'll be near. Love you all. | | |
| For those of you that I haven't gotten to call yet I'm sorry. As of last saturday I found a job I really liked and I found out Tuesday that I got the job. So Sunday (tomorrow) until August 18th I will be in deerfield, IL just north of chicago traveling with a sports camp teaching kids 6-11 cheerleading and dance, also biblical lessons. It's a 3 month thing but they provide housing. We will do a church in the morning and one in the evening each 3 hour sessions. So yeah for those of you I didn't get to yet I will be near chicago until august and no clint is not coming with me. he's still staying here but i'm sure he will find a job while i'm gone. Be praying for my trip as well as clint getting the job he's suppose to get. Love you all. If your in the area call me. | | |
